ABOUT  AHEPA

Founded in 1922, AHEPA is the premier Greek American Organization.  The AHEPA Family is made from four affiliated, cooperating, but autonomous organizations:

The Order of AHEPA is the men's organization.  The Daughters of Penelope is the women's organization.  The Sons of Pericles is the young men's organization.  The Maids of Athena is the young women's organization.

AHEPA is an Order in which you are first accepted as a friend, to share fellowship with.  Beyond that, many members do projects together, for a common purpose.

THE MISSION OF AHEPA

The Mission of the AHEPA Family is to promote Hellenism, Education, Philanthropy, Civic Responsibility, Family and Individual Excellence.

These are Hellenic values.  You may ask: What is Hellenism?

TO JOIN  AHEPA

Do you want to join us?

You can be a member of AHEPA by joining your local Chapter, in the appropriate one of the four Orders.  (Chapters are grouped in Districts; all Districts together form National.)

Please find out which Order is the appropriate one for you, and which Chapter is geographically the closest to you.  Then call (or email) the Chapter President or other listed contact.

The Chapter President will tell you the particulars of the Chapter, i.e. when is the next initiation of new members, what are the exact dues of the Chapter (typ. $45-$60 per year), etc.

The Chapter President will also give you a membership application form.  You are to fill it in, sign it, and return it to them for subsequent handling.

[You make this go faster if you print out the form yourself:  Choose one of the AHEPA Membership Application Form, or the Daughters of Penelope Membership Application Form.  Then fill it in, and give it to your Contact.]

We look forward to your call (or email)!
