Dear Brothers & sisters,

Becoming a District Governor has been an extreme honor for me.  I am doubly honored and proud to be serving for a second term.  The lessons I have learned from my last term has made the work load a little easier but not lighter.

For a District to function within a National organization, we must be professional in our business activities.  I have institute an "Invoice Billing Program" throughout my District that has been very successful.  Copies of this program have been forwarded to every District Governor in the United States and Canada to assist their Chapters on billing it's membership.  Chapters that have used this program have found members are paying their per capita tax faster thus National gets their money sooner.

Membership is also a very important subject and I am committed to increasing membership.  However, if we do not eliminate discussing the negatives, (i.e. embezzlement, fraud, etc,) no one will join the Order.  Therefore, our District 9's motto is "POSITIVELY - ORDER OF AHEPA".  We must always emphasize the "good" of the order to attract new members.  Talk positive, to get positive results.

I look forward to working with National to strengthen my District and with my Chapters to strengthen their membership through positive communication and positive talk.
