Αγαπητοί συμπατριώτες,

Sitting here doing my business keeping the technical side of the house in best shape I can.

I guarantee you it is not easy. Servers, accounts, lists, blogs, web content, connectivity, and the list go on and on.

In addition, single-handedly running the Parthenon Marbles Awareness campaign having to deal with publicity concerns integrating many social networks while building partnerships with other Hellenic owned websites. Of course at the same time I have to perform my duties at my work and family.

Why am saying all these?

Well, I keep reading the msgs going through this forum and seem to me that everyone is politicizing the grave economic situation we are in. This situation did not happen overnight. As you would like to believe, it is not by any stretch of imagination the mistake or error of a single administration. Greece did not go $100bIn in debt overnight. It goes back to the old saying “όπως στρώσεις θα πλαγιάσης”. in my humble opinion at least we have a smart person at the helm trying to deal with the dire situation.

And about what I said earlier?

I keep remembering Kennedy’s words:
ask not what your country can do for you – ask what you can do for your country

To blame others it is easy. But lets ask our selves, when was the last time we volunteered on something or we did a good deed for the good of our πατρίδα?

We have the best minds in this forum from bright economists to scientists. What is holding us of accomplishing something tangible, rather of just discussing and staying on the sidelines?
