The Annunciation Church of Modesto, California hosted another fabulous FDF Symposium October 26 -28, 2001. There were workshops by Iouliou Lygnou from Chios, Mary Coros presented an advanced workshop on Cretan dance, Nikos Savidis and his lovely daughters Sophia and Amalia presented Advanced Pontian workshops, Nick Theodorou and his lovely daughter Carrie presented Sarakatsani Song & Dance workshops, and Niki Sokolov presented a very interesting and informative Director's Workshop.

For our dancing enjoyment, the Aegeans played some great tunes on Friday night and George Chittenden and Friends played all the great music that makes FDF Symposiums "the best" on Satruday night. As a special treat, home town musician Stelios Katzakis(lyra) and Demtrios Katotakis played some knock-out Cretan music both nights.

Our thanks to the organizing committee and the President of the Annunciation Dance Parent Support Group, Deena Tsatsaronis and her handsome husband Stamatis, who made the Symposium possible, and to Father Jon Magoulias for his unwavering support of the FDF youth Ministry.
