Procedures for Project Registration

Here you will find information of either how to propose a new project, or how to bring an existing project to HEC if you already have done some work on your own.

Propose a new Project:

Hellenic Electronic Center would like to invite you to submit your ideas as a project to be produced in collaboration with the HEC. All projects undertaken by the HEC first have to receive EC approval and must comply with the by-laws of the HEC and be validated by a review commitee for its correctness. Once accepted, you could provide the leadership on the project development colaborating with the assigned HEC representative, and also receiving help from HEC volunteers.

We do hope that you will be able to collaborate with us in a project that will contribute further to the projection of Hellenism on the Internet.

Existing Project

The Hellenic Electronic Center Projects Committee exists to encourage the development of Internet projects relating to Hellenism. Perhaps you have already created a web site relevant to Hellenism. It could be with Hellenic herritage, culture, education or similar content. Would you like to associate it with HEC?

Your project will be listed on the HEC pages as an HEC project and your project will be publicised by the Hellenic Electronic Center through its mailing lists. We can take initiative to enhance your project by doing further research and development on the subject. During this development time, you will be the leader of the project group volunteers.

The HEC has a list of projects which we feel would expand the presence of Hellenism on the Internet. For example, Learn Greek Through The Internet (English, Italian, - French is on works), and many others as listed in the front page of HEC, the Parthenon Marbles project, created by school students in Greece in 1997 and right now is beibg re-started. Mmany others listed in the front of our web page.
