Instructions for downloading Greek fonts A. GREEK FONTS FOR WINDOWS 1. Clik here to download through your browser 2. Copy arial.exe to your windows system directory (i.e. c:\windows\system) 3. Go to the windows system directory and type arial. 4. Load windows 3. From the windows control panel (main program group), choose fonts. 4. Click add, and then double click to the sytem directory. 5. When the available fonts appear choose the Arial Greek fonts and press Ok. 6. Load your browser (e.g. Netscape or Mosaic) and from the options-preferences menu select the Arial Greek fonts. 7. When finish with the Hellenic page, go again to options-preferences and select your original font (most likely Times_Roman). B. GREEK FONTS FOR MACINTOSH 1. Get the Mac font: www.Greece.org/0.TOOLS/elot_928.sit.hqx 2. Quit ALL aplications Except the "finder" 3. Drag the font folder that was just generated by the download, into the "system folder" and answer YES to the questions. 4. Open Netscape 5. From the menu bar, select OPTIONS->DOCUMENT_ENCODING->Western Latin_1 6. From the menu bar, select OPTIONS->GENERAL_PREFERENCES->FONT 7. For Encodeing, select CENTRAL_EUROPEAN 8.
