Themis is an independent grass-roots project conceived by Hellenes of the Diaspora.

The Hellenic Electronic Center, www.greece.org, provides technical assistance.

The objective of Themis is to protect the Hellenic history, culture and heritage.

In addition, Themis regularly monitors the Press and/or the Net for historical inaccuracies and sensitizes Hellenes of the Diaspora.

Additionally, this international grass-roots endeavour also aims to sensitize elected representatives of relevant world legislatures, international organizations and non-governmental organizations on issues relevant to Hellenism and Greece.

In the past, Themis has corrected inaccuracies of CNN, 60 minutes, erroneous proclamations and other subjects misrepresenting the Hellenic History, In addition, it is running periodically various petitions in order to gauge the global opinion on various Hellenic subjects and subjects concerning human rights.
