Dear Sir/Madam,

I hereby wish to express my concerns on the matter of recognising the genocide caused by the Turks during the Asia Minor Destruction era (1908-1923) and voice my total support for all Greeks and other Christian people who suffered by the unjustified actions of the Turkish race. On the matter of who commited genocide , it would have to be a foolish man he who even dares sugest that the Turks never commited such genocide , for there is film footage and numerous photos of the destruction of Smyrna and other barbaric acts during that era from the Turkish army. I would even go as far as to say that Turkey is very similar to what Nazzi Germany was and that Turkey has even continued to commit genocide and have done it during our more recent history against the Greeks , Armenians , the Kurds and the Cyprians. These events of genocide cannot be left in the dark and nor should they be forgoten. I urge you to recognise the genocide commited by the Turks and to make way for some seriously needed apology by the Turkish government in order for the healing process to begin for the hundreds of thousands of Christians who have suffered and continue to suffer because of this.

Kind regards
Gene Rock
