Our Archbishoprics Mission gets land to build a Church in Soshanguve : 20 Jan 2006
The transfer of ERF 1154 Soshanguve JJ to the Greek Orthodox Church After 3 years of unsuccessful negotiations with the local authorities in Tswane to apply to buy a piece of land for building a church His Eminence advised the persons involved in finding and negotiating for the land to look at alternative sources for land. Three persons were involved in looking for land. However it was Mike Makris who was able to find us an empty stand of approximately 400 sq.M. After making a successful offer to buy His Eminence purchases the land and on Friday 20th January 2006 we received an email from His Eminence's bank to confirm that the transfer took place that morning.
