SARIA

This small island to the North of Karpathos belongs to the Province of Karpathos. Once the two islands were united but due to earthquackesthey became separated. During antiquity, there was a city on this island which is mentioned by Stravon. The ruins of the ancient city are at the bottom of the sea between Saria and Karpathos. There was also a temple to the god Apollon.

The island is not inhabited and there is random connection with Karpathos.
