INVITATION

To Hellenic Student ( Cultural ) Associations

Dear Friends,

For quite a while now, the Hellenic Electronic Center (HEC) has been created to function as a non-profit, non-political organization that promotes the Hellenic culture throughout the Internet.

HEC's purpose is to cultivate, nurture, and inform everyone about our heritage aiming in providing free supply of Internet services to organizations and communities of Hellenic nature. Another function of HEC is to support projects of individual or organizational merit. For example of organization-members please take a look at http://www.Greece.org/hec/members.html and for current projects, please visit http://www.Greece.org/hec/projects.html

HEC is funded from its benefactors, and for the time being, uses free services offered by organizations such as SYSNET and Hellas On Line (HOL). Furthermore, its volunteers serve the needs of the organization-members.

We are inviting you to become members of our HEC family. As members, you will have the opportunity to publish your educational and cultural activities, or events of your constituents, as well as mirroring pages of your Hellenic Student Associations, and generally contribute your capabilities for the good of Hellenism. As a result of our combined efforts, we expect to develop more important contacts in the future after our initial effort to portray our culture. It is about time that all Associations get together and definitely something constructive will happen.

Please, for those of you that really want to help out, read below and get in touch with us at HEC@Greece.org.

So proceed in actions, NOT promises.

HEC took the first step. It is your turn now.

This is the beginning of HEC actions
in Worldwide Hellenic Student Associations.
