Gold double stater of Alexander the Great (336-323 B.C.) In front is the head of Athena wearing a Corinthian helmet. In backside  you can see Nike holding wreath in her right hand and stylis in the other. You can read the name ALEXANDER (in Greek inscription), Macedonian's always spoke Greek because they were and are Greek.
