Comments (0) I wish these issues can be settled soon in a permanent way, so we can finally exorcise the ugly ghosts of WW2 and go, as Greeks, on a brotherly path together with the modern German nation. The way things stand right now, there is the plausible perception that the enemies of Europe are enjoying driving this wedge between Greece and Germany, and releasing once again the previously banished demons and memories of WW2. The day will come when we will remember WW2 in approximately the same way as the Americans remember their civil war: a mistake, a very tragic mistake, a block of nations making a wrong turn and falling on the wrong path, a fratricidal war, Europeans killing their European brothers. Never again!
